Effective 1 January 2017, Euroclear Nederland stopped to act as Qualified Intermediary (QI) in connection with US-source income paying securities held by Euroclear Nederland Admitted Institutions.
Our upstream custodian, Euroclear Bank SA/NV, which is a QI with primary withholding responsibility, will carry out the relevant withholding and reporting, based on documentation that we will provide to Euroclear Bank in connection with Euroclear Nederland custody account(s).
