Euroclear ESES CSDs appoint Guillaume Eliet as Chief Executive Officer

Brussels, 01 September 2021 - Euroclear ESES CSDs (Euroclear France, Euroclear Belgium and Euroclear Nederland) are pleased to announce the appointment of Guillaume Eliet as Chief Executive Officer.

Since 2017, Mr. Eliet was head of Regulatory, Compliance and Public Affairs, for Euroclear group. Previous to joining Euroclear he worked at the French Stock Market Authority, the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) where he was the Deputy General Secretary, heading the Regulation Policy and International Affairs division. Prior to this, he was head of the Asset Management division within the AMF in Paris.

A lawyer by profession, Mr. Eliet graduated with a postgraduate Diploma in Business Law and Taxation, as well as a Masters Degree in Business Law at the Sorbonne University.

He replaces Brigitte Daurelle who has been at the helm of ESES since 2015. Ms. Daurelle is overseeing the integration of the fund distribution platform MFEX, which Euroclear recently agreed to acquire.

Isabelle Delorme, Chief Business Officer of ESES will now also assume the role of Deputy CEO, reporting to Mr. Eliet.

Depuis 2017, M. Eliet était responsable de Regulatory, Compliance and Public Affairs pour le groupe Euroclear. Avant de rejoindre Euroclear, il a travaillé auprès de l’Autorité des marché financiers (AMF) en qualité de Secrétaire général adjoint, en charge de la direction de la régulation et des affaires internationales. Avant cela, il a été responsable de la gestion des actifs à l’AMF à Paris.

Avocat de profession, M. Eliet est titulaire d’un diplôme de troisième cycle en droit des affaires et fiscalité, ainsi que d’une maîtrise en droit des affaires obtenu à l’université de la Sorbonne.

Il remplace Brigitte Daurelle qui était à la tête d’ESES depuis 2015. Mme Daurelle supervise l’intégration de la plate-forme de distribution de fonds d’investissement, MFEX, qu’Euroclear a récemment convenu d’acquérir.

Isabelle Delorme, Chief Business Officer d’ESES assumera désormais le rôle de Deputy CEO, et rendra compte à M. Eliet.
