Euroclear is actively involved in bringing a harmonised market practice across Europe. Under the SWIFT Market Practice Group (SMPG), we work with the industry participants to align on the practice of CSDR buy-in reporting, focusing on the following principles:
- Single purpose with the use of the buy-in indicator
- Availability of the aggregated information
- Inclusion of the optional field for the buy-in date
- No requirement of CSD validation
