How can the industry take tokenisation forward?

The topics of cryptoassets and DLT continue to take the industry by storm,...

... a number of projects are moving from proof of concept to live environments, but it is unclear whether broad adoption of tokenisation will be achieved. What are the impediments : is it significant initial investment requirements, legal/regulatory challenges – or are there more fundamental questions to be answered? Can tokenisation really help the industry solve material problems, or support the transformation of business models or market structures? Can it deliver on its promise to create more real-time, efficient, inclusive and transparent markets? Or could other solutions help us achieve these goals more easily?

The panel will attempt to bring a realistic perspective of the value and applicability of tokenisation, challenges to adoption and set expectations for the industry over the next year.
