Michael Critchfield
Chief Risk Officer - Euroclear UK & International
Michael Critchfield is the Chief Risk Officer of Euroclear UK & International. He is a member of the Euroclear UK & International Management Committee and attendee at the Board, Risk & Audit Committees.
Mike has 20+ years experience working in both 1st & 2nd line risk functions.
He joined Euroclear UK & International in 2019 after spending 7 years at Deutsche Bank where he was the Global Head for Securities Services Risk Management within the Global Transaction Banking division. Mike was the business sponsor of the Strategic Risk programme delivering a Global Intraday Risk Management tool for the business.
From 2017 to 2019 Mike was a member of the Six X-Clear Risk Committee.
Prior to joining Deutsche Bank Mike spent 19 years with Citigroup holding various senior roles in both 1st & 2nd line Risk functions as well as Product and Relationship Management roles.
Mike began his working career in retail banking with the National Westminster Bank in 1988.
