Guillaume Eliet
Group Chief Risk Officer and Executive Director of the Euroclear Board - Euroclear

Guillaume Eliet become Group Chief Risk Officer and Executive Director of the Euroclear Board in October 2024 after serving for three years as the CEO of the French, Dutch and Belgium Central Securities Depositories (CSDs), which operate under a unified governance model including Euroclear France - the top ranking CSD in Europe in terms of deposits and settlement activity. Between 2017 and 2021, Guillaume performed the role of Chief Compliance Officer for the Euroclear group covering Compliance & Ethics, Regulatory Relationship Management and Public Affairs.
Before his career at Euroclear, Guillaume held a number of positions with the French Financial Market Authority (Autorité des Marchés Financiers), most notably, Deputy General Secretary, Member of the Executive Committee and Head of Regulation Policy and International Affairs.
Prior to this, Guillaume worked for the law firm Coubert Brothers, BP Finance and Caisee des Dêpots et Consignations.
Guillaume holds post-graduate degrees in Private and Public Business Law and Business and Tax Law from the Paris-Sorbonne University and was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1999.
