Chief Product Officer APAC and Global Head of ETFs - Euroclear

Mohamed M’Rabti, Director, is a senior executive within the Product Management division for the Euroclear group. In this capacity, he spearheads Euroclear’s cooperative and advisory activities with capital market infrastructure providers, governmental entities, central banks, fund management companies, distributors, ETF issuers and other relevant stakeholders from securities markets around the world.

Mohamed M’Rabti, is currently the Head for Product management APAC, global head of ETFs, and member of the Asia-Pacific Management Team.
Mohamed works closely with the exchange traded products and investment funds industries to deliver cross-border solutions that are fully aligned to clients’ requirements and the industry’s developments. He also manages the GlobalReach product suite of 12 APAC markets and leads the development of new Euroclearable markets.

Before relocating to Hong Kong in September 2019, he developed and launched an efficient, cross-border European post-trade structure for ETFs using the international issuance model (iETF). He has successfully on-boarded several large issuers (BlackRock, Vanguard, SPDR, Invesco, JP Morgan Chase, Fidelity…) onto the Euroclear platform and the Irish ETF market has been migrated in (€800bn). He also launched the first efficient global distribution of UCITS ETFs.

Mr M’Rabti held a number of senior positions within the Euroclear group, including Strategy Issuer Services in the Product Management division. During this time, Mr M’Rabti was highly influential in forging successful partnerships with Capital Precision in the shareholder ID services domain, and with Broadridge in bolstering corporate governance.
Before joining Euroclear in August 2004, Mr. M’Rabti spent four years at BNP Paribas Securities Services in Brussels, where his last position was Head of Commercial and five years at The Bank of New York (now BNY Mellon), where he was a network manager covering emerging markets.

Mr M’Rabti has a degree in Commercial Engineering from University of Louvain-La-Neuve in Belgium and holds a MBA from Cornell University (New York).
