Chris French
Head of UK Core Product - Euroclear UK & International
Chris joined Euroclear UK & International in February 2020 as Head of Business Development. In this role Chris worked with customers, partners, management and the Board to develop a new business strategy that improves post trade efficiency in evolving UK capital markets.
In July 2022, he moved to his current role in order to ensure execution of the strategy delivers value for issuers, investors and intermediaries in a digital era. Chris and his team work with key stakeholders to identify and implement opportunities to improve market resilience as well as reduce cost and risk for participants.
Chris started his career on the graduate programme at the London Stock Exchange. He spent five years in the secondary markets team gaining experience in equity and derivative markets across roles in operations, surveillance, trading and business development. Prior to joining Euroclear, Chris spent seven years at Euronext in product and sales roles across secondary markets, post trade and trading technology.
