Jo McCaffrey

Chief Strategy and Product Officer, Asset Management, Legal & General

Jo is Chief Strategy and Product Officer for the Asset Management business of L&G and is responsible for the Corporate Strategy, Product and Marketing activities of the firm globally.

Most recently, Jo was Head of Distribution at Credit Suisse Asset Management (CSAM) where she ran the sales, marketing and RFP teams. She was also CEO of the UK business responsible for all teams and activities operating out of CSAM in the UK.

Prior to this, Jo held roles running Global Product functions at both Credit Suisse and PineBridge Investments where she was responsible for the strategy, manufacture, management and control frameworks for both firms’ product line-ups across public and private markets. She began her career at Barclays Global Investors and State Street Global Advisors specialising in the product development and distribution of ETFs.

Jo has a BA in Law from Trinity College, Cambridge and an LLM in International Law from New York University.
