Marc De Rycke

Marc De Rycke is Chief Information Officer of the Euroclear group since September 2026.

Having first joined Euroclear in 1992, Marc brings a wealth of experience that combines exceptional knowledge of Euroclear’s technologies and an enterprise business perspective to the role. This has been built over more than three decades of experience across finance, technology, operations, and transformation. Throughout his career, Marc has played a key role in shaping Euroclear’s technology strategy, delivery model, and operational resilience. Most recently, Marc has been Head of Strategic Initiatives which includes its AI enablement programme. He has previously served as the group’s Deputy CIO.

In addition to his role at Euroclear, Marc was a Board Member of SWIFT, a position he has held from September 2021 to September 2026.

Marc holds a degree in Accountancy from De Katholieke Hogeschool Mechelen.
