Manoëlle Lefèvre
Chief Business Officer for the Euroclear ESES Central Securities Depositories
Manoëlle Lefèvre is Chief Business Officer of the Euroclear ESES Central Securities Depositories (Euroclear France, Euroclear Belgium and Euroclear Nederland), where she leads business strategy, client engagement, product innovation and commercial development across the three ESES markets. She is a member of the ESES Executive Committee.
Manoelle brings more than 18 years of international experience across capital markets, financial institutions and banking. Before joining Euroclear in 2025, she held senior leadership positions at Citi and Investec in London, where she led financial institutions businesses serving banks, insurers, asset managers, private markets firms and FinTechs across Europe and beyond.
Throughout her career, Manoëlle has worked at the intersection of issuers and investors, helping organisations access capital, optimise funding structures and develop investment solutions across asset classes. She has extensive experience in debt capital markets, capital structuring and advisory and played a key role in the creation of a retail bond market during the Global Financial Crisis, helping mobilise retail savings and broaden access to funding for issuers.
This combination of issuer, investor and markets experience gives her a unique perspective on the evolving needs of capital market participants and the development of efficient, resilient and innovative financial markets.
Manoëlle holds a Master's degree in Business Engineering and a CEMS Master's in International Management from the Université catholique de Louvain and ESADE Business School, graduating summa cum laude. She speaks French, English and Dutch.
