Jorgen Ouaknine

Jorgen has over 16 years of experience in the banking sector, mainly on International Retail Banking where he held senior positions focusing on Mergers and acquisitions, restructuring banks and Leading digital and innovation.
Recently before joining Euroclear, Jorgen was CEO of two subsidiaries of BNP Paribas ( DIGIFI (mobile wallet) and DIGISERV (digital factory)) in Morocco focussing on creating a B2C ecosystem developing a unique model, accelerating usage and adoption of new digital services and supporting financial inclusion in the region.
Jorgen is leading today the Innovation and Transformation of Euroclear with key challenges around open innovation, scouting and collaboration with fintech’s, DLT competence centre and supporting the growth strategy of Euroclear.
