Thomas Bengtsson, Director, Portfolio Manager, ATP

ATP is Denmark’s mandatory, collectively funded supplementary pension with ~EUR 100bn in pension assets that provides a guaranteed pension for its 5.8m members.

Thomas is responsible for the treasury activities of ATP which includes fx hedging, liquidity- and collateral management as well as management of the excess liquidity portfolio. Instruments used in liquidity management and investments are bilateral/triparty repos, ON deposits, credit facilities, bills and bonds. Thomas joined ATP in 2017 and has worked in the industry since 2010. Prior to ATP he gained experience from the sell side as well as corporate treasury.

Thomas graduated with a MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management and a MSc in Financial Economics from Lund University and is FRM- and CFA charter holder.
