Mussie Kidane

Mussie Kidane, Chief Investment Officer, Pictet North America Advisors 

Mr. Mussie Kidane is a Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of Pictet North America Advisors (PNAA), a US SEC-registered investment advisor. Mr. Kidane leads the investment team and is responsible for strategic and tactical asset allocation as well as the overall portfolio management decisions.

Prior to joining PNAA in August 2022, Mr. Kidane was the head of the Fund and Manager Research team at Pictet Wealth Management for 15 years.  He joined Pictet Group in 2006 as senior analyst and portfolio manager and was promoted to head the team in 2007. He started his investment career at Lombard Odier Group in 2001 as analyst & portfolio manager.

Mr. Kidane graduated from the University of Geneva with double Master’s degrees in Quantitative Economics and Finance. He is also a CFA charter holder.
