Matthieu Wiltz, Co-CEO of Europe, Middle East & Africa, J.P. Morgan Chase
Matthieu Wiltz is Co-CEO of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). All lines of business at the firm across the region are accountable to Matthieu and his Co-CEO, Conor Hillery.
Matthieu is also Co-Head of Global Banking and Head of Sales for EMEA.
He was previously Global Head of Credit, Securitized Products and Public Finance Sales and he also served on the JPMSE Management Board, overseeing Markets Sales, Trading and Research.
Matthieu started his career at J.P. Morgan in 2000 in Paris, and he took on a number of roles in subsequent years in the Markets business, both in Paris and London. He returned to Paris full-time to manage J.P. Morgan’s Brexit program and the relocation of parts of the Markets team to continental Europe.
As a strong advocate for diversity, Matthieu is the Regional Executive Sponsor for Women on the Move, the firm’s flagship gender diversity program, and is actively engaged with the Pride network in the region. He is also a leading figure on the EMEA Philanthropy Committee at the bank.
Matthieu lives in Paris with his wife and three teenage children. Outside of work, he is passionate about travel and sports, especially triathlon and kitesurfing.
