Josi Rosenfeld holds a PhD in theoretical quantum many-body physics. She is a lead AI researcher and senior quantitative strategist with over 15 years of experience developing machine learning–driven predictive models and systematic trading strategies across proprietary trading firms and financial institutions.

More recently, she has led research into AI architectures that partially automate the data science workflow, applicable to trading and decision systems, including methods for extracting verifiable insights from unstructured text. She now advises on the strategic application of AI in investment research and trading workflows, with a focus on explainable and robust AI approaches suitable for regulated financial institutions.
