Jim Goldie , Chair of ETF Task Force, EFAMA

Jim Goldie recently joined Capital Group in February '26 as EACG Head of ETF Capital Markets. In this role he will lead the development of Capital Group’s ETF capital markets function for Europe and Asia-Pacific. Jim joins Capital Group from Invesco where he spent 10 years as International Head of Capital Markets, ETFs and Indexed Strategies. In the role he was responsible for managing the relationships with the ETF trading community and assisting clients with trading and execution. Jim has almost 20yrs experience in the ETF industry and currently serves as Chair of the EFAMA ETF Task Force and Co-Chair of the EU’s T+1 Governance Committee for Asset Management. Previous  roles include ETF Capital Markets Specialist with Vanguard and trading assistant and operational management roles at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. He has a First-Class BA Hons degree in Finance from the triple accredited Strathclyde Business School.
