Adnan Hussain

Adnan Hussain, Global Head of Agency Securities Lending & Liquidity Services, HSBC Markets & Securities Services

Adnan Hussain joined HSBC in November 2019. He serves as Managing Director on the Securities Services Executive Committee, and leads HSBC’s Agency Securities Lending & Liquidity Services businesses globally. With over 20 years’ industry experience, he sits on the Board of Directors for the International Securities Lending Association driving forward the strategic priorities and development of securities lending markets across geographies and jurisdictions.

Most recently, Adnan was at BNP Paribas Securities Services where he oversaw UK Market & Financing Services and served as Global Head of Agency Securities Lending. He has also held senior positions at RBC I&TS and CIBC Mellon. Adnan holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Toronto and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He is based in Hong Kong.
