At Euroclear, different perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences make us stronger. With more than 6,000 colleagues from over 80 nationalities across 18 offices, diversity is part of who we are.
Our different Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-led groups that bring this rich diversity of colleagues together. They foster inclusion, raise awareness about important topics, advocate for structural changes, and create a lasting impact.
Backed by executive sponsorship, they also contribute to business success and ensure that colleagues’ diverse insights are considered in decision-making processes.
At Euroclear, you can take part in these groups, support their initiatives, and enjoy a workplace where every colleague feels valued and respected, receiving the opportunities and support to thrive.
Women Empowering Academy
This community empowers women at Euroclear through connection, learning, personal development, and systemic change. It creates opportunities to build confidence, expand networks, share experiences, and learn from others. It also contributes to building the female leadership pipeline. Most importantly, it empowers its members to shape their own path, both professionally and personally.
This group engages colleagues to create greater allyship, advocacy, and sponsorship for inclusive gender balance.
Typical activities:
- We help colleagues build confidence through workshops, such as the ‘I Am Remarkable’ series at different offices.
- We encourage open conversations about personal development and systemic changes across genders, celebrating International Men’s and Women’s Day campaigns and events.
- We organise a wide range of events such as panel discussions, keynotes, and inspirational interviews. We involve colleagues at all levels of the organisation on various topics such as career progression, allyship, financial literacy, and personal branding.
- We contribute to processes and policies review to embed inclusive practices such as the inclusive hiring guide for managers.
Neuroclear
This is a community that celebrates the differences in how our brains work and how we see the world. It’s dedicated to raising awareness, fostering understanding, and addressing the challenges faced by neurodiverse colleagues across Euroclear.
Neuroclear provides opportunities to learn, share experiences, build connections, and explore practical ways to make our workplace more inclusive for everyone.
Typical activities:
- We offer coffee mornings to support colleagues with neurodiversity as well as parents and carers of children with neurodiversities or disabilities.
- We increase awareness and understanding of neurodiversity in the workplace through lived experiences and practical guidelines.
Proud Network
This community aims to foster an inclusive environment for LGBTQ+ colleagues and allies across Euroclear. It creates opportunities to connect, share experiences, raise awareness, and celebrate the diversity of identities, backgrounds and perspectives that make our organisation stronger.
Open to all employees, the group helps build a workplace where everyone feels seen, respected and able to bring their authentic selves to work.
Typical activities:
- We raise awareness and foster inclusion through educational webinars on topics such as queer history, allyship, and authenticity at work.
- We celebrate pride and support the community through events across Brussels, London, and Kraków, including fundraising initiatives such as Drag Bingo, which in 2026 raised €1,600 funds for Le Refuge (including a matched contribution from Euroclear).
- We promote visible allyship by wearing rainbow lanyards and the You Are Safe With Me pin, reinforcing psychological safety and inclusion.
Wellbeing
This community supports employees by promoting mental, physical and financial wellbeing. It creates opportunities to learn, connect, and access practical support, encouraging people to prioritise their wellbeing both at work and beyond.
The group helps foster a culture where wellbeing is openly discussed, support is accessible, and everyone feels empowered to take care of themselves and others.
Typical activities:
- We host Mental Health Awareness Week activities, involving Paws At Work (an initiative that brings trained therapy dogs into the workplace), massages, cakes, and more.
- We raise funds for charities proposed by our ERG members through bake sales and community activities.
- For one hour a month, colleagues in the UK take part in a 5km walk to get out of the office, chat with different people, explore, and discover how movement can improve wellbeing.
Network for Ethnic and Cultural Inclusion or VOICE
These communities advocate for and shine a light on the cultural and ethnic diversity that forms part of Euroclear’s employee population, supporting greater inclusion. They help ensure that colleagues with different cultural and ethnic backgrounds have the support, resources, and opportunities they need to fulfil their ambitions at and beyond Euroclear.
Through dialogue, leadership engagement, workshops, cultural exchanges, and advocacy for structural changes, NECI and VOICE contribute to creating a more inclusive environment where talent from multicultural and diverse ethnic backgrounds can thrive.
Typical activities:
- We organise career reflection sessions with senior leaders and role models to share career journeys, practical insights on development, and strategies to overcome challenges.
- We lead Black History Month activities across locations, including a global webinar with external speakers and local cultural awareness campaigns in France and Poland.
- We celebrate cultural moments that bring colleagues from different backgrounds together, such as Iftar and post-Ramadan events, Lunar, New Year celebrations, South Asian Heritage month, and Diwali.
- We contribute to processes and policies review to embed inclusive practices such as the inclusive hiring guide for managers.
All Abilities Included
This community was created to empower every colleague within the organisation, no matter their strengths, talents or needs. It broadens awareness about accessibility and offers a safe space for people with chronic illness and disabilities (whether visible or not) and caregivers.
It also promotes concrete actions to adapt the workplace and company culture to ensure all employees have access to the full spectrum of opportunities.
Typical activities:
- We organise sessions on both visible and non-visible disabilities to share colleagues’ experiences and practical tips to support all abilities at work.
- We establish partnerships with inclusive vendors such as Heide Atelier in Belgium (ice cream sales) to create awareness and support opportunities for people with disabilities.
