What do you do at work?
My team and I create a workplace where employees thrive and feel productive. An office with stylish, well-cleaned spaces, thoughtfully designed and locally produced interiors. Safety, maintenance, and deliveries run seamlessly. Also, never underestimate the importance of good coffee. When a stressed colleague stops to chat for a moment by our lovely espresso machine, we’ve helped make someone’s day better.
What is the best thing about Euroclear Sweden?
Euroclear Sweden is—and should be—a place where people have the best conditions to grow. We have a strong corporate culture based on teamwork, inclusion, and respect. The Workplace team are the ambassadors who organize generous Monday breakfasts, after-work pubs, coffee breaks, and themed events. One of the company’s most experienced employees is part of our team: Belgin, who has been responsible for daily cleaning for 14 years. On her recent birthday, colleagues had made a record-breaking gift contribution. It was heartwarming and made me proud!
What can you bring to Euroclear?
I’m a relationship builder, which creates trust and opens up dialogue. According to colleagues, I’m dedicated, unpretentious, and communicative. I always keep up with new developments in the field, which allows me to identify and implement improvements that benefit all colleagues, our culture, and the environment.
What are you most proud of?
I lead a team of problem-solving pros who make everyone feel seen. When we’re at our best, office life runs smoothly, and people feel well and comfortable. This takes many hours of invisible work behind that. But one of my lesser-known talents is imitating dialects and ways of speaking. Be warned!
What are you less proud of?
I love to laugh loudly and heartily—you can immediately tell where I’m sitting in a restaurant. That might not always be appreciated by the neighboring tables.
