During the last decade the regulatory environment across all financial markets has evolved, affecting Euroclear Sweden´s CSD links service offering regarding foreign financial instruments. As the conditions for these links have changed compared to when they were originally established, Euroclear Sweden needs to assess its current service offering . The assessment period is Q1-Q2 2021.
Issuers who are considering an affiliation to Euroclear Sweden through CSD links
Euroclear Sweden expect changes to its CSD link service offering. The extent of the changes and our future ability to provide services in current capacity will be determined after the assessment period. Euroclear Sweden will not open any new CSD links until the review has been finalised.
Please be reminded that the recording of Swedish depository receipts via an issuer agent is an alternative to affiliation to Euroclear Sweden.
