Team Rynkeby’s new record: €8.84 million towards the fight against childhood cancer

Team Rynkeby Finland raised € 331.795 towards the fight against childhood cancer in Finland. Team Rynkeby Finland passed the total amount to cancer association Sylva ry which passed € 99.540 to Aamu Suomen Lasten Syöpäsäätiö.

Ulla Jaarte, from Euroclear Finland, took a journey of a lifetime and cycled from Helsinki to Paris this July:
“This year Team Rynkeby’s entire donation was 37 percent more than last year. In addition, Team Rynkeby Finland made a new record on their donation as well with €331.795. I am so proud of all the sponsors and team mates in Team Rynkeby. With this donation Sylva ry can develop their services towards the families in need.” 

 

44 teams in six countries
In 2017, Team Rynkeby will include more than 1,700 cyclists and 450 volunteers, divided into 44 teams in Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the Faroe Islands and Iceland.

Team Rynkeby's purpose

The primary purpose of Team Rynkeby's cycling trip to Paris is to raise money for children with cancer and their families. All the money that Team Rynkeby raises goes to the local childhood cancer association in that country.
