François Marion was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole CIB in May 2016.
He has gained extensive corporate and investment banking experience, having joined Banque Indosuez’s Internal Audit department in 1983, before moving to New York. In 1992, he was appointed as Chief Operating Officer in Asia, before moving on in 1997 to become head of financial control, budgeting and strategic planning for the Crédit Agricole Indosuez group. In 1999, he joined Crédit Agricole Indosuez’s Executive Committee and became Head of the Systems and Operations department. In 2004, he moved to Crédit Agricole Investor Services as Chief Executive Officer. He has been Chairman of CACEIS’ Management Board since it was formed in 2005 and Chief Executive Officer since 2009.
